Good Experience

For the last few months I have been on a work experience placement with Lorna Syson Textiles! I have been leaning so much and I have thoroughly enjoyed helping out at Top Draw and working in the studio. All the products are handmade in the UK and are made using sustainable materials and processes where ever possible. Check out the British Hedgerow Collection which is made from stinging nettle wool!

It's back to work we go!

I have been very busy recently getting back into the print room and printing fabrics and wallpapers! I love seeing my designs come to life with colour - especially metallic!

Another giant leap

Yesterday I did my first market stall in London! The Market is a beautiful old building called Leadenhall Market and is situated in the City of London next to the famous Lloyds Building. It has featured in many films and adverts such as Diagon Alley in Harry Potter and a recent T-Mobile ad!

The day was a success and I shall be back there next Tuesday!

Super Duper Fair Blackpool

Here I am at my very first craft fair which I thoroughly enjoyed and even though it poured down with rain it was a great success and I met some lovely people!

Sewing and Printing

These last few days I have been sewing more little purses and hand screen printing some canvas bags! My favourite item is the blue rooster bag, that proud rooster is over 100 years old!
I'm really excited about the handmade fair in Stanley Park in Blackpool on July 18th, prices will start at £4 for a small purse which are hand made from vintage fabrics!
